Three months of blogging have passed and up to this moment is has
been a great experience. I could name a million reasons why I love doing
what I do on this blog right now, but I already expressed those in a previous blog.
Still, there is lot left to share with all of you, about why I started
to blog in the first place. Yes, because I just love to write, but there
are several ways to do so these days. The true reasons behind this
whole blog run just a little deeper. Be prepared to continue and find
out.
All of you know I am a fan of the TV-show Californication
and for those who didn’t, you do know. A love that has been created by
the intriguing personality Hank Moody has. On one side he is a hopeless
romantic when it comes to writing. On the other hand, he is a man
struggling between needs, ethics and love. Hurting a lot of people on
the way, due to his angst for commitment to anything or anyone. This
combination he all put in a blogging experience made realize how
beautiful blogging can actually be. It showed there was a way to write
meaningful blogs, with inspiring quotes and sentences, instead of
extreme long text messages filled with LOL’s and BRB’s. I know it does
sound ridiculous, but it was the inspiration I needed to start this whole blog in the first place.
My first objective was to write the same meaningful blogs that Hank Moody spoke about on the show. Whether I succeeded to do so up to you guys to decide. I am not that arrogant to say I am inspiring and meaningful blogger. There might have been a couple of inspiring blogs along the way and given the fact there is a decent amount of people following my blog, I think I am doing pretty good. Still, I keep trying to improve myself and my blog for the best. Come up with more inspiring food for though and taking you by the hand in my journey through this life. Discuss the beauty and problems I run in to and maybe come up with solutions for problems we all struggle from. At least for as long as I enjoy doing so. All because I finally realized what I was missing out on during an episode of Californication.
These last three months also learned me a lot about myself and blogging itself. As far as I can tell, I am not a magician when it comes to choosing the words to express myself. Still, it doesn’t really matter in the end. What Californication actually taught me is that meaning comes from the heart. Hank wasn’t an actual blogger, his style was too much focused the romantic side of writing. Still, he made sure that everything he wrote came straight from the heart. This showed me that is what really matters when it comes to blogging. Be true too myself, be sincere and to never hold back. Something I also found in the blogs that I am following on a regular base. For those who do like it, be sure to check out Thypolar Life Uncensored, The Story Of A Girl and Your Life Sentence. Basically, all blogs you find under the head of links meet this qualification and are all worth checking out
In the end I would like to express my blogging adventure started with some romanticized idea about writing. Writing blogs containing meaningful subjects, inspiring sentences and magical quotes. Only to find out that blogging truly is about being open, honest and true to yourself. Write about the subjects that matter to you, from your own point of view. Regardless of what others might think about your statement. All learn from Hank Moody and blog from the heart.
